BETT 2002 is delighted to welcome Estelle Morris., Secretary of State at the DfES, who will officially open the show at 10.30am on Wednesday 9th January. Demand for free seats at this opening address will be high so please turn up in good time.

BETT 2001 saw the successful expansion of the event into the National Hall. 2002 now aims to build on this with the development of the Policy in Practice area. This feature of co-located stands of policy makers – DfES, Becta, TTA, QCA – ensures visitors have a chance to understand varying roles and remits of our national agencies and government departments as well as enabling these bodies to work together to co-ordinate key messages and help develop visitor understanding of both the relevance of ICT and the place of BETT in the national agenda.

Features and Zones around BETT 2002 will help you to find your way round and locate your interest area as well as giving you valuable information on best practice and policy guidelines. New features of BETT 2001 look to develop further and become established as important facets of the Show.

More comprehensive information on BETT 2002 Show features can be found in the Feature Section.
